Georgette Baxter was appointed director of business development and customer service at RhumbLine Advisors.

A spokeswoman for RhumbLine said via email that Ms. Baxter will be based in Boston.

“This is not a newly created position but an addition to the business development and customer service team,” the spokeswoman added.

Ms. Baxter is “responsible for promoting RhumbLine’s products and services and deepening its relationships with clients and consultants,” the company said in a press release Wednesday.

She will report to the CEO Denise d’Entremontadds the press release.

Ms. Baxter has over 18 years of industry experience in client service, business development and consultant relations in the equity, fixed income and private real estate asset classes. , RhumbLine said in the statement.

She was previously a vice president at ASB Real Estate Investments in its client services and marketing group. An ASB spokeswoman said by email that Ms Baxter left ASB on April 1. A replacement for Ms Baxter “has not yet been identified”, the spokeswoman said, and other members of the client services team are handling her duties.

ASB Real Estate Investments had more than $9.5 billion in gross assets under management as of March 31, according to the company’s website.

Boston-based RhumbLine is a women’s and minority-owned institutional investment firm specializing in index products. The firm had more than $92 billion in assets under management as of March 31.
